Gregg's Christmas Stocking

Here is the follow up from my previous post about Gregg's Christmas stocking.  The prior post read "I have finished all of them except for Gregg’s.   He has put in a special request to have one much bigger and decorated beyond what I feel is…… well, it doesn’t matter what I think – it will be his stocking."

I have to admit that Gregg inspires me to do things that I wouldn't have thought to do.  This isn't the first time he has done it and I am sure it won't be the last. 

This stocking is so large Gregg can hardly reach the bottom even with his long arms.  Each design is made out of felt, which Denae helped me create and cut out.  I used beads to decorate the wreath and tree, and for the snowman and santa eyes.  The snowman has buttons for his ....buttons.  Gregg requested bells and lots of them, so they are all around the edge of the top and on the reindeer's scarf.  I finished it off with some pom poms around the toe of the stocking.  I stopped short of his request for glitter and sequins.
