Girlfriends Birthdays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having girlfriends is just the best thing ever!  When they have birthdays it always gives us another chance to get together and celebrate.  Since I love crafting so much and I can't keep all this stuff I make myself...I make it for my girlfriends.  They have to like it, well..... because, they are my girlfriends - right!

I painted these on 4" x 4" canvas squares.  They are an inch wide so they can either be hung on the wall or sit on a shelf.  I told Rhonda these are the 'f'' words in my book!

I almost always use my own font when I design.  It comes naturally for me to do and the randomness of it allows for error.  I am trying some different ways of writing the font.  The word "friends" written downwards with some letters on their side is an example of this.

 For this design, I cut out letters and words from a magazine and arranged them on the canvas.  Once I had them how I liked, I mod podged them in place.  I added a few painted polka dots in between the letters and on the sides of the canvas.  I finished it with a glossy finish.
